We are situated in a quiet neighbourhood some 100 metres from the centre of the town, out of any road. We accept pets, but after we negotiate.

The name comes from the word PHAROS - Greek name for island and town, that stood where today Stari Grad (Hvar which is in the 13th century assumed the title of the island's center). Glory and power of Hvar gained during the Middle Ages as an important port within the Venetian maritime empire.
