Rogac - Island Solta
Rogac - Island Solta

Rogač is a port village in Croatia on the northern coast of Šolta island in the Split-Dalmatia County. It is connected by the D112 highway and by ferry. In the small port with the Port Authority of the island, there is a filling station for cars and boats. Also land in Rogač car ferries. The place belongs to Grohote and has 110 inhabitants.

Šolta

In the azure shells made by the sky and the sea in the Split archipelago, the blue island of Šolta appears out of the silent Adriatic. Throughout its turbulent past Šolta has been invaded, defended, and attacked by pirates and discovered by artists. Whether it was an invader, farmer or an artist – all of them have left traces of their stay here.

Island Solta

If you want fish dishes and other delicious treats, a visit to the fishing village of Maslinca is the right choice. For sipping cocktails in the swimming pools visit Nečujam, and when you want to have the island under you, walk up to Vela straža, the tallest peak on the island or ride some bikes on the Šolta roads. And if you want some night life, the discos or the bustle of the hot summer nights will offer a great time.
